Description

Operational lifetime of the sensor will depend on the way it is stored and exposed to open air, so store the sensor airtight.

Technical specifications:

  • Measurement range: 0 .. 100%
  • Resolution: 0.03%
  • Influence of humidity: –0.03 % rel. O2 reading per % RH
  • Warm up time: 30 sec
  • Warrantee: 3 years (only if stored airtight)

All technical specifications of the oxygen sensor are described in the product manual, see downloads.

The Oxygen gas ssensor can be used in a variety of biology and chemistry experiments, such as:

  • Monitoring human respiration
  • Measuring changes in oxygen concentration during photosynthesis and respiration of plants
  • Monitoring oxidation of metals such as iron
  • Monitoring respiration of animals, insects, or germinating seeds
  • Monitoring consumption of oxygen by yeast during respiration of sugars
