Description
This sensor can also be used to measure the electrical potentials generated by muscle cells when these cells contract and relax (Electromyogram).
The ECG sensor is delivered together with a package of 100 electrode patches.
Technical specifications:
- Measurement range: 0 .. 5 mV
- Included: 100 Electrode patches
- Required: One sensor cable (BTsc_1 or BTsc_1Short)
- Warrantee: 3 years (1 year for the electrode patches)
All technical specifications of the sensor are described in the product manual, see downloads.
The ECG sensor can be used in a variety of biology experiments, such as:
- Monitoring ECG in rest and after mild exercise, or with mild stimulants
- Measurements of the heart rate before and after exercises
- Associate amount of electrical activity with strength of muscle contraction
- Recording the electrical activity of a muscle (EMG)
- Studying the P, Q, R, S, T waveforms
- Studying the effect of different body positions on the ECG
