Description
The pressure is measured via a pressure port located next to the switch.
You can attach a plastic tube or a valve with Luer-lock connectors. You can also attach the 20-ml plastic syringe included with the sensor directly to this port.
Technical specifications:
- Measurement ranges: 0 .. 130 kPa / 0 .. 700 kPa
- Accuracy: ±0.1% (full scale range)
- Included: 20ml plastic syringe, 2 plastic tubes (5 & 45cm), three-way valve with Luer- lock connectors, two Luer-lock connectors
- pressure: 1000 kPa (more pressure can cause permanent damage)
- Required: One sensor cable (BTsc_1 or BTsc_1Short)
- Warrantee: 3 years
All technical specifications of the sensor are descibed in the product manual, see downloads.
The Pressure sensor can be used for physics and chemistry experiments, such as:
- Measurements of pressure changes in gas-law experiments, Boyle’s and Gay-Lussac’s laws
- Measurements of vapor pressure of liquids
- Measurements of reaction rates as a gas is produced in chemical reactions
- Measure atmospheric air pressure
