We are pleased to announce that as of July 1, CMA has a new director, Tom van Raaij.
Ton Ellermeijer and Ewa Kedzierska have great confidence in a bright future for CMA under his leadership. Ton founded CMA in 1987, stemming from the Didactics of Physics at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). Ewa has been intensively involved with CMA since 1995. For them, it was crucial that CMA will continue as a Dutch EdTech company dedicated to advancing science education through technology and innovation.
Tom has an excellently fitting background in terms of knowledge and experience. He has been a physics and chemistry teacher for six years and, for the past seven years, served as the director at Eurofysica. He is well-prepared to lead CMA into its next phase of growth and success.
Tom on CMA Science: “The software and sensors of CMA are a very strong didactical tool to support teachers in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Especially the huge database of lesson plans, written by teachers, is invaluable. I am proud to be able to continue this great company and committed expand its success.”
Ton and Ewa will remain involved with CMA in the coming years to ensure business continuity.
